TCP New Release Blog Hop

Wahoo!  It's new release day over at The Cat's Pajamas and the Cat Pack is celebrating with a blog hop!  You should have arrived here from Deborah’s blog.  I am so excited to show you the cards I've made with some of the new release goodies!  Christmas is my favorite holiday so I had so much fun making these early Christmas cards with some of the new products. My first card features the new Gnome Peeking stamp set and Joyeux Noel cut ups die : I stamped the gnomes onto my A2 cardbase and colored with copic markers.  I added the "Gnome Peeking" sentiment to the top center of my card with some black ink.  Next, I used the Big Beautiful Blending Brush to blend distress ink for the light background of my card.  To finish off my card I added the snowflakes I cut out from the Joyeux Noel cut ups die , and glued them to my card.   My second card features the new Yeti Christmas stamp set , Happy Holidays cutups die , and clear holographic holeless sequins :

TCP Sneaky Peek Day 4 - Yeti Christmas

It's another sneaky peek day over at The Cat's Pajamas!  I hope you have been enjoying the sneaky peeks The Cat's Pajamas new release this week. Today I am giving you a sneak peek of the Yeti Christmas stamp and Village Snowglobe Die : To make this card, I cut out the snow globe image with the new Village Snowglobe die and glued that onto an A2 white card base.  Next I stamped, colored and cut out the Yeti from the Yeti Christmas stamp set  and glued that to the side of my snow globe background.  I then stamped the sentiment (also from the Yeti Christmas set) under my snow globe image.  To finish off the card, I glued some clear holographic holeless sequins to my card base.   I love this yeti stamp set!   Click here to head on over to the TCP store to get yours now! Day 2 of Sneaky Peek Week over at The Cat's Pajamas - Flippin' Awesome

It's Day 2 of Sneaky Peek week over at The Cat's Pajamas.  We are giving you sneak peeks of the new TCP release all week! Today, I'm sharing a peek of the n ew Flippin' Awesome stamp set and coordinating die with two cards I made: To make this first card I stamped the bunny, bbq, spatula, burger and sentiment from the Flippin' Awesome stamp set on a white A2 card base.  I colored my images with copic markers, and then blended in some distress ink in the background of the card using the new, amazing Big Beautiful Blending Brush .  That's it! Quick and easy card! For my second card, I used the Flippin' Awesome stamp set and coordinating die, and the new Great Outdoors stencil: First, I used the new Great Outdoors stencil to make the cloud background on my A2 card base using distress oxide ink and the new and amazing Big Beautiful Blending Brush .  Next, I used the Big Beautiful Blending Brush to blend some more distress oxide to make the gre

Hi crafty friends!  Thanks for joining me today!  This month's challenge over at The Cat's Pajamas is still going on.  This month's challenge is Christmas in July!  We want to see your cards with some type of holiday element.  Today, I'm sharing two Christmas cards I made featuring my favorite TCP bunny! TCP June Release Sneaky Peek Day 1 - Kickin' It

Yippee!  It's day one of Sneaky Peek week of the new release over at The Cat's Pajamas!  So excited you are joining me today!  Be sure to read to the end of this post to find out how you can enter to win a $10 gift voucher to the TCP store! Today I'm sharing a sneaky peek of my new favorite TCP bunny stamp - Kickin' It. To make this card, I stamped the bunny and sentiment from the new Kickin' It stamp set , and then went to town coloring this adorable image with my copic markers! So much fun! I drew in some grass with my copic markers, and finished off the card by blending in some clouds in the background with some distress ink using TCP's new Big Beautiful Blending Brush  and Great Outdoors stencil . TCP Tuesday Challenge: Christmas in July

Hi friends!  I can't believe it's July!  And that means there's a new Tuesday Challenge over on The Cat's Pajamas blog !  This month's TCP challenge theme is Christmas in July.  I love Christmas!  It's my favorite holiday so this is such a fun treat to start thinking of some Christmas card ideas early!  For this challenge, I made a non-traditional Christmas card using some non-Christmas TCP stamps: Stamp sets:  Spit Happens , Clownin' Around , Big Word Basics Dies: Rectangular Stamp Die How I made this card:  First, I cut out the background rectangles from the Rectangular Stamp die and glued them onto a piece of light green cardstock.  Then I stamped and colored the cactus, llama and presents from the Spit Happens stamp set, cut out my colored images and glued them on top of my rectangle frames.  To make the "ornaments" for my cactus Christmas tree, I colored and cut out the juggling balls from the Clownin' Around stamp set and then g
