Leveling up! Back to school card with Waffle Flower Crafts Level Up Stamp Set

Image
I can't believe another year has flown by and it's back to school!  To celebrate the little guy moving a year up to the next grade in school, I made this card using the Level Up stamp set by Waffle Flower Crafts . So fun coloring the images from this stamp set and I love how my card turned out! To make this card, I first blended distress oxides (faded jeans, peacock feathers, twisted citron, and squeezed lemonade) onto a 4 1/4 x 11" piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock , and then splattered with water using an old paintbrush.   Next, I inked up the walking dragon, fire, clouds and +1 and A buttons from the Waffle Flower Level Up stamp set using MFT Extreme Black hybrid ink , and colored the images with copic markers .  I cut out my colored images and then glued the fire flame and one cloud onto the bottom section of my cardbase, and adhered the dragon, +1 and A button, and one cloud with foam tape to create some dimension.   Next, I inked up and colored t

Waffle Flower Sweet Ice Cream Stamp Set

Image
Greetings crafty friends! So happy you are joining me on my blog! Today I'm excited to share this card I made featuring the Waffle Flower Crafts Sweet Ice Cream stamp set .  I had so much fun coloring up these cute mice and yummy ice cream treats! To make this card, I blended some distress oxide inks  (mowed lawn, twisted citron, evergreen bough and mermaid lagoon) onto Neenah solar white cardstock (cut to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2") and splattered with water.  I then used a pierced rectangle die to add the dotted border around my blended background.  Next, I used the two smaller dies from the Waffle Flower Doily Square die to cut out a stitched white frame from Neenah solar white cardstock .  Then I adhered my white frame with foam tape to the center of my card, and stamped the "You're as Sweet As Ice Cream" sentiment from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set  with  MFT Extreme Black hybrid ink  onto the center of my white frame. After finishing my center frame for my card
