The Cat's Pajamas New Release Blog Hop!

Image
Yippee!!! The Cat's Pajamas' new release day is finally here and we're celebrating with a blog hop !!! You should have arrived here from Brenda's blog.   I am soooo excited to share some fun cards I made featuring some amazing new goodies from the March TCP release !  First up is a shaker card I made featuring the  Year of the Pig stamp set  and  Spring Mix sequins .  I've been dreaming of summer so it was so fun having this cute little piggie float in a pool of pink flowers. To make this card I cut a large rectangle (approx. 1" wide) down the middle of a piece of light blue cardstock (cut to 3.75"x5").  I glued a piece of acetate behind the blue cardstock, and then put foam tape all around the back of the blue cardstock.  I sprinkled a bunch of the new Spring Mix sequins onto the middle of my white A2 card base so they would appear through the rectangle acetate window, and then put my blue cardstock with the acetate window on ...

Hooray! It's the final day of the Sneaky Peeks of the new release over at The Cats Pajamas ! Today's Sneaky Peek #7 features the new Four Seasons Duo die set.   For this sneaky peek, I made a card featuring the Four Seasons Duo die and the cute animals from the new Jungle Boogie stamp set , which are now both available over at the TCP store : How to make this card:  First, I cut out three frames and the sun and clouds from the Four Seasons die in various different colored cardstock, and glued them across my card to make 3 windows. I made the grassy hills from green cardstock using the Wavy Stitched Border die .  Finally, I stamped, colored and cut out each of the jungle animals from the Jungle Boogie stamp set and glued them on top of my windows/grassy hills.  To finish the card, I added the "Have a Swinging Birthday" sentiment from the Jungle Boogie stamp set. I hope you have been enjoying this week of sneaky peeks.  Please joi...

The Cat's Pajamas TCP Tuesday Challenge #355 - Envie Envy

Image
Happy Tuesday friends!  It’s my birthday and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate by starting a new TCP Tuesday Challenge over at The Cat's Pajamas !  The theme for this month's challenge is Envie Envy.  We want to see all the amazing ways you can decorate an envelope!  You don't have to use TCP products, but we love it when you do!  Today I am sharing two envelopes (and matching cards) I made for this month's challenge: For the first envelope, I wanted to make it look like a postcard so I drew in lines down the middle and right, and along the bottom of my envelope.  To create a "postage stamp" on the top right corner, I used a couple stamps from the new TCP Travel Stickers stamp set.  Then I colored the fun musical cactus to the left, which is from the new TCP Cinco de Cactus stamp set.  For the background of my card I used the new Rectangle Stamp Duo dies, and put another fun cactus from the Cinco  de Cactus stam...
